Getting Started

The Quattro is a versatile USB utility which can be programmed with free firmware and then used to provide a PC with control or communications functionality as required. To get started, please follow the following process:

  • Select and download the Quattro firmware you require
  • Download and run the HID Bootloader - this will load the firmware of your choice onto the Quattro
  • Download and run the COM port driver software - this will allow your PC to 'talk' to the Quattro via a virtual COM port

The Quattro can then be controlled via any application that can use a COM port. A simple example is 'Hyperterminal' (available on Windows versions prior to Vista).
